Why women choose the Caya® diaphragm
When asked about their reasons for choosing the Caya® diaphragm, respondents stated:
- 36% wanted a hormone-free method of contraception
- 25% wanted to avoid hormone-related side effects
- 23% appreciated that the method is only used when needed
Many respondents stated that they had previously used hormonal contraception.
Ease of use of Caya®
85% of participants stated that they had not experienced any difficulties using the Caya® diaphragm.
Among those who experienced challenges, issues such as insertion, positioning or removal were most frequently cited. As with all user-controlled contraceptive methods, proper instruction and initial practice can support safe use.
Partner acceptance
The survey results showed predominantly positive or neutral reactions from partners:
- 79% stated that their partner had a positive view of the Caya® diaphragm
- 14% stated that their partner was indifferent
- 4% stated that their partner was unaware of its use
Sexual experience when using the diaphragm
- 61% reported no change in sexual sensation
- 34% reported an improvement
Would women recommend the Caya® diaphragm?
98% of respondents stated that they would recommend the Caya® diaphragm.
